Have you ever been to the circus and thought I could do that while watching a show? Well here s your chance to find out what circus is all about at this purpose built facility. Covering everything from the flying trapeze, juggling, acrobatic balancing and static trapeze* in a supportive and carefully controlled environment. Suitable for anyone over 14.
On arrival you will register for a free membership of The Circus Space. Your expert instructor will then show you and your group how to warm up properly to avoid damaging any muscles. Then it s over to the trapeze or perhaps the juggling balls or maybe the acrobatic mats for your first taster of the skills every budding circus performer must perfect. As you move round the activities in small groups you will be given the chance to ask the various professionals for inside tips.

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will receive a voucher valid for ten months. No experience necessary. Min age is 14 and you must be reasonably fit to take part. The maximum number of participants will be 24. Please bear in mind that there will be a variety of age groups taking part. Spectators are welcome and will be able to see most of the action. Sessions run from 11am to 2pm or 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Dress Code is leggings or tracksuit bottoms and T shirts must be tucked into bottoms, no footwear required. This experience runs on selected dates approximately twice a month throughout the year. We recommend booking at least four weeks in advance. Please arrive 15 mins prior to your start time to fill out a membership form and to get changed. * Please note from 1 January 2008 the static trapeze will be replaced with tight-wire walking.
