Let us introduce you to this absorbing sport at one of the country's most prestigious gliding clubs. Set close to the Chilterns, this professionally run club is the perfect place to introduce you to the thrill of powerless flights.
Your half day at the club includes three flights by aero tow, course notes, all tuition, and a month's club membership (giving you reduced rates for flying) so you can return for more if you wish!
Please note that the precise number of flights and the duration of flights may vary according to the weather conditions. Your flights are likely to be all together, either in the morning or the afternoon, but the club encourages you to spend the full day there so that you can really get involved.
Group Size: It'll just be you and the instructor. Weather Dependent: Yes You'll spend about half a day gliding, although you are welcome to stay at the centre all day.

Information and Restrictions
Selected Monday - Sunday dates, all year round.
Maximum weight 102kg (16 stone), maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4). It is not suitable if you suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions or if you are pregnant. You need to be at least 14 years old to participate in this activity. No experience or qualifications are necessary for your flight. You will be asked to sign an alcohol declaration before going to the launch point. No alcohol should be consumed within 24 hours of your flight.
