Fly free and experience the peace of gliding 1000 feet over the countryside
These exhilarating Winch Launch Glider Flight lessons will take you to between 1000 and 1500 feet above the ground. You will be able to see far across the rolling English countryside on this course to remember. The lessons will last between 5 and 20 minutes in which time you will learn to turn and manoeuvre the glider. (4 Winch launch lessons)
The course takes place in a dual controlled glider accompanied by a fully qualified instructor. Air time is approximately 5 to 20 minutes per flight, depending on weather conditions. On arrival at the venue you will be given a brief overview of the glider then up, up and away you go! The trial lessons don’t end when you land either - the voucher entitles you to 90 days membership of the club. You can fly again at any time during the 90 days at special rates!

Information and Restrictions
On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. Flights are only available on weekdays. It is important to book in advance to confirm a mutually convenient time. It is also essential to call on the morning of the flight before setting off to the Gliding Club to ensure that the weather is fine for flying. Maximum height 6’2. Maximum weight 15 stone. There are no age restrictions for this experience. All 4 flights must be taken on the same day.
