Learn the traditional methods of Moroccan cooking during this long weekend in enchanting Marrakesh.

Immerse yourself in the ancient mystery of this magical city. Stay at a privately owned riad in the heart of Marrakesh where beautifully restored rooms are built around a central courtyard of fountains and orange trees. The riad is an oasis of calm and tranquility amidst the bustling atmosphere of narrow streets and fascinating souks. The cooking is wonderfully relaxed. Under the guidance of a Berber cook you will prepare authentic Moroccan dishes in the way they have been made for centuries.

On arrival at Marrakesh airport you will be met and transferred to the riad. A traditional Moroccan dinner awaits on the al fresco roof terrace. Day two begins with a guided morning tour of the souk, then there is time at leisure before a late afternoon cookery session to prepare the evening meal - Tangia. Next watch a couscous and dessert demonstration before enjoying the Tangia dinner on the terrace. The following morning is a visit to the Mellah food market and spice merchants. We return to the riad for a cookery session preparing a lunch of tagines and salads. The afternoon is free before dinner at a highly recommended restaurant and a final night at the riad.
