Details
This action packed one day course will teach you the essentials necessary for mountain biking success. The course is aimed at adults who wish to learn the skills needed to cycle off road confidently on a mountain bike.
The course covers bike set up, safety checks, ascending and descending hills, cornering and how to cross obstacles such as tree stumps with wheelies, drop-offs or bunny hops. The day finishes with a ride to put the skills you have learnt into practice. Morning and afternoon snacks and refreshments are included, as well as a goodie bag to take home. You should bring your own packed lunch and additional drinks. Mountain bike hire is not included, however it can be arranged at the time of booking if required.
Group Size: There will be a maximum of six participants to one instructor. Your day will last approximately 6 hours.

You should have good general fitness. If you have any history of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure or mobility problems then you may require a doctor's note to confirm you are suitable to participate. If unsure, please check on booking. The minimum age is 18 years. No previous experience is required.
