Game Overview
This game brings back what sonic is all about, running at ridiculous speeds through outrageous looking landscapes, collecting rings, round loop the loops and spirals and defeating the occasional end of level boss! Now that's what you call Old Skool!

Select from one of fours teams, Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose and Team Chaotic who all have different characters in their ranks. The main difference from this sonic game to the others is that instead of playing as one single character you actually play as a team of three, Team Sonic for example consists of Sonic, Knuckles and the loveable Tails! Each individual character has their own attacks and when all three characters are combined there is another selection of insane stunts and attacks to baffle and destroy your enemies.

Each character has a different ability which enables you to conquer certain stages of the level, obviously Sonics is his incredible speed, Knuckles is Strength and Tails is his ability to fly with that whacky tail of his! You will need Sonic to guide your team through fast parts of the level going round loops and spirals, Knuckles you will need to bash your way through walls and Tails will comes in handy when there are high ledges you need to get too. All this sounds very simple but when your against the clock and have a hundred and one other things going on around you it can be a little tough at times, but the game will tell you which character is needed for the upcoming stage and sometimes will even swap them round itself, other times it lets you make that decision.

So far, So good! Pleasantly surprised with this latest Sonic game, and SEGA have finally got 3D Sonic almost spot on! As with all other sonic games the colours stand out like no other game, perfect for sitting your kid down in front of and making them point out the different colours whilst you are playing, when they complain that they want to play, just tell them that they are helping, and you are working as a team like Sonic, Knuckles and Tails are, works every time!! Mean but we love it!!

One thing that really really impressed us about Sonic Heroes is the amount of different ways there are to finish each level, you know what that means? Every time you play the level it's like playing a completely different one this makes the game very hard to get bored of when there is so many possibilities and ways to per-fect your navigation of the game. The only problem was that either we kept choosing the longest route or we really sucked at the game! We could never seem to get higher than a Grade E, which we are assuming is the lowest!

Our Conclusions
Challenging but great fun, one problem that still occurs is the Camera angles but apart from that you're getting a fairly good game and definitely worth those precious pennies! Happy Gaming!!
