PDC World Championship Darts 08
With a few beers inside you the game would be a lot more enjoyable and quite a lot harder. We can understand Football Games and NFL and FPS games but surely it isn't that hard to get hold of a dart board and play for real. OK, so you aren't playing at Lakeside against the worlds greatest players but the real game is a lot harder and if you practiced for real then maybe one day you'll get to Lakeside!

NiGHTS - Journey of Dreams
Summing it up you'll be pleased with Sega for following up on the original released over 10 years ago and not making a complete pig’s ear of it. Nowadays some companies will just release a game hoping that the following that the original accumulated will go out and buy it even if it is rubbish, we call this a quick buck! However, NiGHTS Journey of Dreams isn't actually that bad and is definitely worth picking up if you fancy something a little different.

Geometry Wars
With extra galaxies available to unlock, Geometry Wars is a little more extensive than the original Arcade version available on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade. In comparison the Wii version is a lot more in depth but to us doesn't quite look as good. It is however great fun to play and highly addictive. It's also available on the DS which we have a review on as well however if you are tossing up between the two go for the Wii version.

Ghost Squad
If you have played any of the Time Crisis before you'll get the hang of Ghost Squad straight away. It's not complicated, straight forward, simple, easy gameplay and generally quite good fun with plenty of replay ability IF you have a mate to play along with. Single player does get a little boring after a while. Great attempt, and just about worth the price tag.

Smarty Pants
That's pretty much it for Smarty Pants, the idea behind the game is just like any other "quiz" game that has been released. It's good fun to play when you are with mates and you can really tell it is geared towards multiplayer. With 20,000 questions they shouldn't repeat to often although we did get a couple of repetitions within half an hour of gameplay, they are right up to date and some of them are quite challenging. Great game for Christmas Day when you have the family round as it is suitable for all ages but we don't think you'll touch it again until the following Christmas.

The Golden Compass
The film lets down the books, and the game lets down the film. It's a bad time for Golden Compass fans as we would think the majority are wishing they had stopped with the books and not bothered watching the film or possibly playing the game. Gameplay is boring, very uninspriring and makes the game way to easy to put down and not pick back up. The voice acting is laughable, the graphics are some of the worst we have seen on the Wii and to be honest there is no reason why anyone would want to pick this title up. Play Mario Galaxy through again instead!

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Rayman is still a brilliant and legendary character in gaming, the predicted "sequel" is still good fun to play and very enjoyable with mates but single player is virtually pointless and very tedious. Some of the games look a little rough and the sound is just down right annoying at times. It's not as good as the original, that's for sure but at the same time if you are looking for a couple of hour’s entertainment with some friends then there isn't many better games out there. It's a weekend hire game at best.

Endless Ocean
We can't remember the last time a game was released that had a "Check out the scenery" option on the deck of a rather expensive yacht, but this does, all you do is sit there and look at the scenery! in a video game! No frags or gunfire, no epic battles or screeching tires, it's a relaxing, quiet game that doesn't ask you to do anything in a time limit or kill anything. Some may think it is boring, but we urge those people to try this out as it is weirdly addictive. It's nothing amazing but if you can pick it up on the cheap it is definitely worth a punt!

Super Mario Galaxy
The big question we are asked is, is it better than Super Mario 64? Well, that's too hard to call, it's the best game on the Nintendo Wii by a country mile, so good that we can't see it being caught by any other game ever made on the Wii, but actually better than Mario 64 we would have to say no, but it is definitely as good as it's older brother. You definitely won't be let down by Mario Galaxy, mark our words, this game will still be around and talked about in 10 years time as is Mario 64. This is an absolute must have for all Nintendo Wii owners!

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
Nothing seems out of place, there isn't masses to moan about but there isn't really anything to boast about apart from the characters available to use. It's definitely got some multiplayer lifespan to it so you'll probably continue to "whip it out" when you have some mates round once in a while but on the single player side of things you'll not touch it once you have played through and unlocked everything.

Cheggers Party Quiz
Cheggers Party Quiz came on sale for the PC and PS2 on 26th October 2007 and a Nintendo Wii version is due for release on 30th November. It's a prefect Chrimbo time game, after a huge Turkey lunch with way to many sprouts, get the family in front of the TV and play some Cheggers Party Quiz, obviosuly with the exception of Grandad who will have the compulsary Christmas day kip!

Metroid Prime 3 Curruption
Nintendo are really starting to flex their muscles now and although a lot of people out there will have Wii's as second consoles next to a 360 or PS3, with games like Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Mario Galaxy it shows that the Wii is more than just a pull out on special occasion’s console. Metroid Prime 3 really sucks the gamer in, it is better than any Metroid game we have played in the past!

Table Tennis Wii
Not as good as the game should have been, in fact it is nowhere near as good as it could have been. If you already have Table Tennis on the 360 then don't bother with the Wii version. Gameplay is pretty weak and the controls really let the game down, the Wii is all about having fun and being a little bit livelier than usual when playing games, Table Tennis after 5 minutes is neither.

Carnival
Carnival is without a doubt a multiplayer game unfortunately though you have to take it in turns on most games, we think it would have been better on split screen and actually competing against each other at the same time to make it that little more competitive. In general though, don't get this if you are billy no mates, for £14.99 in most places, it might be worth picking up if you are planning on having a lads night in but there are plenty of better multiplayer games out there.

Alan Hansen Sports Challenge
There is probably only one console you can buy this on and that's the Wii, we'll stick our neck out on the line and say that it will be better on the Wii than on the PS2 or PC. The Wii is all about multiplayer with mates and there is nothing better than proving to everyone on a Friday night with a few bevvies that you are the king of Sports Knowledge.

Boogie
It's bright, colorful and can be a really good laugh but you HAVE to play with mates to make it worthwhile playing, then you have to persuade your mates to sing which as we found out isn't as easy as you may think. There just isn't enough life in Boogie for us, it's worth having as back-up for a party but other than that you'll struggle to put it back in the Wii once you have played it a couple of times and sung all the songs.

Big Brain Academy
Single player mode, we reckon, will last the average gamer all of an hour, before they become bored stiff and put Mario Strikers back in, multiplayer on the other hand whether it be with the kids or your mates or even your parents is a right laugh and with the RRP being so low on Big Brain Academy it is definitely good entertainment for a night in but you'll probably need to couple it up with something else!

Medal Of Honor Vanguard
Another War game set to keep you busy for a few hours! Medal Of Honor makes it's first apearence on the inspirational Wii, hopefully it'll live up to the high reputation the Wii has gained in the last few months.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Ideal for the kiddywinkles but due to the Nintendo Wiis' control system Super Monkey Ball will appeal to people over 10 years old for once. Gameplay is good fun although the story mode does get a little tedious after a while and doesn't offer all that much variety.
