Game Overview
Area 51 we think will do really well, how can it do badly when you have nothing to base the game upon? No one really knows if Area 51 exists apart from the American Government, so baring that in mind when you play this game you wont have anything to compare it too in which case it has to be good, as long as everything else falls into place.
We will start with the graphics, the lip syncing is pants, in fact most of the time you play the game in a suit which covers your face which really is a good thing, but apart from that the graphics are simply beautiful! Explosions, life like movements, the guns that you are very pleased to have look real! Loads of Blood and guts and alien juice! What else could you possibly want from a Sci-Fi shooter!
We must warn everyone that this game has got a certificate 18! Children, get your older brother to go and buy it for you because this is not to be missed!! It may well give you nightmares but they will be well worth it, try not to play it with the lights out though! Area 51 is one of those games that you take your time with because you are not sure what is going to pop out from around the corner and start sucking your face, sounds like a night out in Chelmsford! You will need you wits about you to stay alert at all times! The action is fast paced and there is plenty of things to shoot, destroy, blow up and kill! You can ever shoot your own team but they won't like you much for it.
Area 51's main storyline is based in the corridors of Area 51 (Surprisingly enough) you play the part of a guy called Nick Cross, an infectious mutagen gives you alien-enhanced physical abilities but is also slowly transforming him into an alien, basically you have to find the cure before it's too late and humanity is lost! Sounds a little bit far fetched, we know, but you don't know what goes on in Area 51, which is what makes this game so cool! Complete objections with an array of over 15 human and alien weapons through 8 absolutely huge levels, its like they are never ending, which leads to loads of gameplay, loads of shooting and you had better make sure you have a good supply of underwear ready because you are going to need them!

Our Conclusions
Area 51 has it all, good gameplay, great graphics, chilling sound effects which make you constantly paranoid about something jumping out at you. Area 51 is definitely worth trying out for all types of gamers, even if you don't like shoot em ups all that much, give this a go, we think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Overall Score: 7/10
Big thanks to Nader at Indigo Pearl for sending in Area 51.
