Game Overview
Burnout Revenge is great, in fact to be honest the whole Burnout range has blown us away, finally a game that not only can you get the sense of speed, but you don't have to be tactical about how you race, there is no need to practice your braking, no need to come to terms with racing lines and most of all you don't have to bother trying to dodge oncoming traffic!

As you may or may not be aware Burnout Revenge is a little over the top and incredibly unrealistic, but trust us it is unrealistic in a good way! If your driving down the street doing a ton and you plough into the back of Joe Bloggs car at a junction, chances are your going to do one of two things,

1) Hit his car so hard that you right both vehicles off, consequently killing everyone involved in the collision, or.......

2) Hit his car so hard that you right both vehicles off, however you survive, and get away with minor injuries, most of which are inflicted upon you when Joe Bloggs gets out of his trashed motor and rearranges your face for you using anything that might have fallen off of the cars! Not Nice!

Well Burnout lets you trash, smash and destroy as many vehicles as you possibly can without the danger of killing yourself or getting the crap kicked out of you (unless your mates are a little over competitive). Storm through the streets at stupidly fast speeds, totaling cars on the way! The crazy thing about it is that you don't slow down, and you actually get rewarded with points and Boost. INSANE! And we love it!!

The graphics are crisp, sleek and very shiny! The soundtrack is pretty pucker, as we have come to expect from all of EA's games. It is incredibly easy to play, your missus could pick up the controller and play this one! But most of all it is just great fun to play, which a lot of games lack these days.

If you get sick and tired of making your mates eat dust and smashing them into walls and oncoming pillars then simply purchase an online adaptor, hook yourself up online and get playing some of the best players in the world! Makes life a little more challenging, shall we say!

Our Conclusions
The game is stupidly unrealistic; there is no way you could plough through other vehicles without totaling your car! No matter how hard you try! The great thing about Burnout Revenge and the whole Burnout series is that its unpredictable, you will never have the same race twice, and as it is so easy to get to grips with you could have good competition from almost anyone! Take our word for it, you will not be disappointed with this game, make sure you buy it! Heck we have even found the cheapest places for you to buy it on the net!
