Game Overview
With each different edition for different clubs certain things change, such as the entrance scene where with the Arsenal, it was a movie clip of match day at Highbury, also the novelty of having different players from your selected club ball juggling on the option screen, and the loading screens having pictures of your favourite players give you something to look at whilst it is loading which isn't long. A lot of effort has gone into making each of the Club Football 2005 editions unique and we can confirm that this is a 'must buy' for all fans.
One thing that really impressed us was the chance to purchase video clips and pictures of past and present goals and players. Now, although none of us are Arsenal fans it was a pleasure to watch Henry's screamer from 35 yards against Man Yoo from last season, over and over and over, it got better every time, you can even purchase a virtual tour of the stadium, how cool is that! Another thing they have also included is scenarios, for example, one of them is to replay the second half from the Champions League Quarter Final against Chelsea from the invincibles season, we all know what happened but can you change history and actually turn Chelsea over to walk through to the Semis?
It has some fantastic cut scenes when the ball goes out of play, placing the ball down for a corner and of the Manager having a pop at the players when they concede a goal you even get to see the gaffa jumping about all over the joint when you score, but we can't help thinking would Sir Alex really jump about like a kid on a bouncy castle when his team score? But we must say that the cut scenes although not brilliant graphics they really are good, there isn't another football game out there (that we are aware of, if there is, send it in) that has cut scenes as good as Club Football 2005.

Our Conclusions
The in game controls are the usual controls for footy sims, so there is no having to get used to different controls if you have been playing other football games which can be a right pain, however we do feel that for in game playability Club Football 2005 isn't quite challenging Pro or Fifa, but is a 'Must Buy' if you support one of the clubs that have their own edition. In fact to be the ultimate fan you need to buy this version and the version that was released last year.
All that's left for me to say is Codemasters.........please do a Crystal Palace edition !
If you have always wanted to tour some of the biggest stadiums England, we might be able to help you out with a Stadium Tour.
Overall Score: 6/10
