Crash Tag Team Racing by Vivendi
Available on - PS2, PSP, Xbox and Gamecube

There is no hiding from Crash Bandicoot, there won't be many people in the world who have never heard of him and there won’t be many gamers out there who have never played one of his excellent games, Crash Tag Team racing is another one to add to the list of legendary Crash Bandicoot games!

Game Overview
After being humiliated yet again by Crash Bandicoot® at the end of Twinsanity, Dr. Neo Cortex returns to his evil scheming in his dilapidated Iceberg Lair. He hatches a sinister plan to challenge Crash to a seemingly friendly race competition...with plans of crushing the hapless bandicoot under the ruins of the hazardous racetrack!

In Crash Tag Team Racing players will be able to fuse two cars together on the fly to form a super vehicle outfitted with a turret gun with the all-new "clashing" technology. Players can continue their adventures on foot with out-of-car action, allowing them to traverse an amusement park-like world where they can interact with other characters, collect items and complete mini-missions.

Crash Tag Team racing is like two games in one, outside of the racing it is very similar to playing a Crash platformer and then enter the tracks jotted around the amusement park and you are racing! There is so much to do in this game! It will take you ages to complete 100%, and good luck to you, its not as easy as you may think!!

As with all Crash Bandicoot games it has the brilliant, bright and crisp graphics blending loads of different and funky colours which really cheer you up! It looks like a proper computer game!!

The weapons you gather up around the track appear to be a little different than your usual suspects, balls of fire, sticks of dynamite with faces on them that dance about and chickens! Like we said, this game looks like a computer game, and the weapons really give it that ridiculous out of this world feel which we love!

When you join up with another vehicle on the track one of you drives and the other shoots a gun out the back of the vehicle blowing up everything in it's path, it's quite a good laugh however, when you decide to detach yourselves the person on the back shooting the gun propels forward ahead of you, so if you are in the lead and you coming to the chequered flag, be a little bit careful! Numerous occasions we have detached from Dr Neo, he has flung ahead and won the race! We warned you first!

Our Conclusions
In conclusion we can only give praise to this game, people may slate it and give it bad reviews but for a computer game you can't really get better than this, they aren't trying to be realistic, Vivendi and Sierra are trying to entertain you and they have accomplished that comfortably, it's a great game for the kids and likewise for all adults, especially with some mates round, 4 controllers and a case of lager!

Overall Score: 8.5/10

Thanks to Vivendi for making this review possible.
