Game Overview
We wouldn't mind betting that you can walk into any Computer Game shop in the world and be confronted with Carl Johnson (CJ) who is the main character in one heck of a game, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. This game is so big and popular that people were willing to sell their grannies to pay for it. Its massive, it's so massive that if you haven't heard then, well, where have you been? Crawl out from under that rock go down your local games shop and get a copy.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is based around one particular person called CJ, he returns home to San Andreas when his 'Mom' is killed to find that things aren't like they used to be, and also that a bent copper played by Samuel L Jackson is framing you for killing a police officer. Samuel's voice suits this game to a T, he is a leg end and just carrying on the tradition of playing the hard arse in whatever he does, who else would you get to do it, come to think of it who else is there!?

There are a fair few changes to San Andreas, they haven't done much graphics wise but the Cities are so big you can understand why. The main changes come from the actual game play side of things such as being able to steel and ride BMX's, getting your hair cut at the barbers to almost any gangster style you want (although we haven't found one that does a perm), Changing your clothes and at last you can swim, we all know how annoying it was in previous games not being able to swim, well, now you can! The really cool thing about Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is that CJ actually puts on weight so you have to go to the gym to get fit, lose weight and learn those all important fighting moves to kick some ass in the streets. Cool huh!

The missions don't appear to be all that hard but they seem a lot more down to earth and real life than other missions we all went through with Vice City, you get to do drive by shootings, attack gangs, go to lowrider meetings and burgle houses which is really fun (but don't try it at home). Creeping around at night trying to be as quiet as possible is so much fun, and you don't have to wait for a burglary mission, just wait till its dark pick up a van and off you go! Burgle as many houses as you can before daylight.

Our Conclusions
Prostitutes are still there for your convenience, people still roam the streets who you can now interact with when they talk to you or you can just beat them up, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is just Vice City but with bigger Cities, a better story line, great voice overs and so many more novelty things to do. What are they going to come up with next? Any one who tells you that this game is rubbish obviously still gets tucked in at night by Mummy. WE LOVE IT!

The Soundtrack:

Having listened to all the songs over and over again whilst playing the game you get used to them and find yourself singing along or skipping through the stations looking for your favorite song, well now you can have them all on CD. Actually that's slightly wrong as you don't actually get all the songs that are on the game, for some reason they have missed off the classic "Aint Nothing but a G Thang" by Dre and Snoop, but you do get an awful lot of music for your money! If you love the game then this compilation is something you must have, if you haven't played GTA San Andreas and don't intend too then your probably best spending your money on something a little more for you, like Tweenies or Barbie, you big girls blouse! Anyway, it gets the thumbs up from us!
