Game Overview
MX vs ATV Unleashed is your typical racing game with a difference! Instead of the usual racing around a track, ramming it up the inside of the guy in front of you, to try and climb the rankings to first, MX vs ATV is all about skill and agility! Especially with the MX side of things! You will never win a race if you can’t get your weight distribution right to clear the jumps! The last thing you want to be doing is landing a jump wrong, 1. It slows you down and 2. It might even throw you off of your bike!

MX vs ATV Unleashed has so much to do! Its great when games come out that just don't get boring. We spend lots of time playing games that just get boring and tedious after a while but MX vs ATV is pure excitement and however much we play it, it just doesn't get boring! Championships, Capture the Flag, Free Roaming rides (Great fun!) Tricks, Time Trials and the inevitable Multiplayer! Multiplayer is what makes this game so darn good! The tracks are quite simple so are very easy to memorize, so the multiplayer basically boils down to who can take the best line through corners and who can get there timing right on the jumps! If both players can get it right then it makes for some really competitive racing!

Uphill racing on the ATV's is something that is included within the game. Crikey is it hard! Almost vertical slopes and you have to get to the top before the other AI racers and maybe your mate! Not as easy as it sounds. That’s another thing that makes MX vs ATV Unleashed a corking game is the fact that it is quite challenging but not annoying challenging! If you get what we mean? For some reason if you lose a race by a split second, you don't care at all, we think it's because the game is so enjoyable, you don't mind playing it over and over again, and if you do lose it just means you have to be a little more aggressive!

We loved MX vs ATV so much that we really didn't want to find anything wrong with it, but there is one really big problem that sticks out like sore thumb and that is the loading time, unfortunately it does take a while to load, we can forgive the loading time for the free ride because it is loading fairly big levels (little bit like Smugglers Run) but with the rest of the game it was a little bit annoying, although for the multiplayer option the loading time is great so you can taunt your mate and tell him how much you are going to annihilate him! Yes, we are very competitive people, and we love it!

Our Conclusions
In a nutshell MX vs ATV is simply stunning, the graphics are great, there is a great selection of bikes, clothing, helmets, gloves, boots (once you have unlocked them) and although we are unfamiliar with the makes of MX clothing one that did stand out was No Fear! That should surely be enough to indicate a quality game, the fact the NO Fear wanted to be apart of it, if it isn't then take our word for it, MX vs ATV Unleashed is Brilliant!! BUY IT!!!!
