Game Overview
The original SSX was without a doubt an absolute classic, we can remember playing that game for hours and hours, not wanting to put it down, from memory it was actually a release title for the PS2 and boy what a release title, it definitely set the bar at a very high level for up future PS2 games let alone SSX titles!
EA know that they have the best Snowboarding title available on any console and boy are they going to let you know about it, but why shouldn't they? It is a quality series and the new addition doesn't buck the trend!
The ice cool slopes make for another ice cool title, crisp and very colourful graphics will bless your eyes (we aren't sure if colourful is the right word but you will see what we mean when you switch it on), they give the game a bit more of "cool" feeling to the game, there really isn't much we can say about the graphics, you know what to expect with EA and that is what you have got, nothing ground breaking but still exceptional!
Being an extreme sports title it has to have an extreme soundtrack and EA as usual have not failed in that department with a mixture of Rock, Punk and Hip Hop, the soundtrack really is good enough to have as a mix CD, it's one of the best soundtracks we have come across with any game, and there isn't just a dozen decent songs, there are 41 great songs to see you through the entire game, ranging from Queens of the Stoneage to Goldfinger, Def Leppard to Iron Maiden! Have it!
The multiplayer is by far the best part of the game, extreme sports titles are always competitive and SSX is exactly that, we found that SSX on Tour was very much like a good book, impossible to put down, and when you do put it down all you can think about it playing it!

Our Conclusions
Great gameplay, excellent multiplayer, huge tracks with various different routes allowing you to try time and time again to find the quickest routes, SSX on Tour is a very good game, expanding a lot from previous titles we can't see how this series can get any better, SSX 5 is going to be one hell of a game!
Overall Score: 9/10
Thanks to New Media Maze and EA
