Game Overview
Well, to be honest we at BlokesOnly aren’t huge Star Wars fans; one of us hasn't ever even seen one of the films, not one! That’s pretty astonishing and he must be one of the only people on the planet that hasn't however he seems to be enjoying the new release from Activision!
It's a good sign when someone who doesn't really care for something plays the game equivalent, it means that the game must be good, and it is.
Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is a third person adventure game based around the Jedi's Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they join forces and beat the living poo out of anything in their way! Amazing light saber battles throughout the game that will amaze all Star Wars fans, they keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you determined to advance through the game, who would have thought a glowing stick would have so much power. Although the constant swooshing sounds (you know the sound) does get quite annoying after about 5 minutes.
As with most games that are based on a movie there are clips of the film included in the game, obviously as these are video clips so the graphics are real however it is quite hard to spot when the video stops and the computer graphics take over, obviously to a trained eye you will be able to tell but ask your Mrs. to have a look, we bet she can't tell the difference, unless of course she is one of those really cool females who plays video games and drinks lager! Bring her round we wanna meet her!!
A big downfall with Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is that you have a set path to follow, obviously this makes the game a little bit easier as you are pretty much told where to go but we think it would have been a lot better if it was almost like a free roaming kind of game, the game is already quite difficult but adding free roaming to the cocktail would have made the game that little bit harder and probably would have made pro gamers cry!

Our Conclusions
It's a fact of life that you cannot fail with Star Wars, you are guaranteed a good game as developer will not want to drag the reputation of Star Wars through the dirt, always a safe bet buying a Star Wars game, and Revenge of the Sith is no different! Activision has done very well with the latest addition to the range of Star Wars games and we applaud them for that! There is only one way to finish off a review of anything Star Wars, yep you guessed it, "May the force be with you!"
Overall Score: 8/10
Thanks to Activision for sending in Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith.
