Game Overview
Are you alive, are you dead? Are things real or are they just figments of your imagination, premonitions put there as some big joke by a higher being? That is what this game is going to start making you think, it plays with your mind and gets inside your head, start thinking now!
The great thing about this game is the huge arsenal that is on offer Shotguns, automatics, grenades and rocket launchers everything shoot em up fans dream about at night, some been have wet dreams about mutilating corpses with a Sub Machine Gun, sick we know but that’s just us! There is officially enough fire power in this game to spill over and supply the sequel with and the sequel to the sequel, and the sequels sequels sequel, you get were we are going with this right?
Flashbacks are used to show you the past and to make your pants get even browner! Trust us, just install your PS2 in the bathroom so you can sit on the toilet whilst playing it, you are going to need it! Unless your missus or mum don’t mind washing soiled boxers!
Gamers are able to play the game the way they want with two views being accessible, 1st person where you just have the gun in front of you (our personal favorite) or the 3rd Person where the camera is fixed on the person and everything is in shot. So no complaints about camera angles and all that rubbish! Play the game the way you want!
If you like blood soaked weapons, scenery and clothes then this game is right up your street, you will struggle finding something quite this gory, even the title The Suffering Ties That Bind has a spook and gore factor to it! "Never judge a book by it's cover" they say, pretty sure you can judge this one by that front cover! You’re in for one heck of a night!

Our Conclusions
The storyline is chilling but pure genius, movie quality! The graphics aren't the best but they are good enough to know that you are walking in a huge puddle of shiny warm blood!! We have to give The Suffering a round of applause, it is a brilliant attempt at scaring the living daylights out of us and it did work! Wicked game and definitely worth a punt!
Overall Score: 8/10
