Game Overview
Guns, Explosions, Drugs, Blood, Steeling, Swearing, Fighting, Fast Driving, Axe swinging marijuana farmers, this game has it all! And it is brilliant! We really do love it!

It's probably not really one for the kids, but once they have gone to bed, whip it out, slip it in that box and get bashing! We are talking about the computer game!! Geesh!

Hours and hours of entertainment, the best description of this game we found on a site goes a little like this "1989: Deep in the heart of the Mexican jungle, undercover agent Ernesto Cruz blasts his way through an armed militia to board a DEA plane bound for home. He never made it, the victim of an alleged 'overdose'. Present Day: After uncovering new evidence, Ernesto's son, Ramiro is set free from jail to join his twin brother Tommy, on the trail of their father's killer as they go on a super-cool, tequila fuelled rampage through Mexico's gun-toting, drug-pushing underworld."

Sounds like a proper film doesn't it!? Well it kind of plays like one too, with different missions to complete throughout the game to progress and eventually find your fathers killer. It is very much like playing Grand Theft Auto, similar sort of style and very addictive, we promise you will have trouble putting the controller down.

The part of Total Overdose we enjoy the most is the cool stunts you can do whilst killing people. Wall kicks, bullet dodge (everything slows down and you can watch the bullets fly through the air), backwards dive then there are the Loco moves such as the Golden Gun (1 shot kill), Tornado (our favorite, holds his guns out, jumps in the air and spins whilst firing, kills everyone in site, quality!), El Toro (he goes nuts and runs around the place like a bull and kills people, quite interesting). There are many various ways of killing people in this game, you can even kill someone by driving past them and opening the car door into them as you’re moving, it's great because there are so many different ways it never gets boring, so when we say you can play this game for hours and hours, we aren't kidding!

Our Conclusions
Great fun to play, we never thought we would say this but GTA finally has a challenger, there are a couple of very minor problems with the game but nothing that will make you think that buying it was a waste of money. Eidos have themselves a great game here and you can bet your life savings that there will be a sequel! If there isn't then there damn well should be! All those reviews out there that tell you this game is pants don't listen to them, it's a brilliant game! Buy it now!!
