Game Overview
Since the PSP was released CoD fans have been drying out for it to make the jump over to PSP, who wouldn't want to be killing Nazi's on a plane flight to Magaluf? Call Of Duty is undoubtedly one of the biggest War titles on PC and Console so it was obviously only a matter of time before it became available on the PSP.

We quickly booted up the game and got straight into action, after waiting for the game to load which was a bit of a long time! But then again we have become used to long loading times with the PSP, what do you expect, some of these games really do pack a punch for a handheld.

The first thing we noticed was that the controls seem to have been refined and have made it a little easier to play. The PSP unfortunately has been ridiculed since release because of its difficult controls when needing to be accurate in a game, CoD seems to have almost eradicated those problems and is quite easy to pick up and play, which is always a bonus when it comes to handheld games, although you may find at stages throughout the game that it returns to its old self and makes it a little difficult.

Graphics wise, pretty good although nothing amazing, there has definitely been better graphics on the PSP but those games don't usually have a great deal going on in the game, CoD does have a lot of action so you can understand why the graphics aren't spot on. Unfortunately at times when there are big explosions (which do look good), there is quite a bit of slow down, understandable though, so we won't hold it against the developers!

Gameplay is typical CoD but on a smaller scale, the levels are just as big and keep you engrossed but there isn't really anything we haven't seen on consoles and a PC. There are plenty of missions, bombs, explosions, killing and running through an obliterated landscape as per usual although what else do you want from a war game??

Our Conclusions
Not a bad turn out for the PSP and the CoD team, it's nothing ground breaking and can't see it converting any gamers in to CoD fans, that's left for CoD3 on 360 and PS3 (play it if you haven't), it'll definitely sell to the loyal CoD fans but can't see it lasting long with average gamers.
