Game Overview
The Midnight Club vs Need For Speed battle is getting almost as big as Pro Evo vs Fifa, its a fight that will never be resolved as each new addition will be bigger, better and more people will take sides and argue which on deserves to be the king of the genre. We are human, we have our favorites but we review games, that's what we do so we are just happy to play games!
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition was always going to appear on the PSP, as soon as Need For Speed was announced it wouldn't be long till DUB Edition was to be on the scenes, ripping up the roads, with its highly tuned and modded motors and their bling bling rims!
As with a few of the PSP release titles it's hard to tell the difference between the PS2 title and the PSP title apart from the fact that the graphics aren't as good but you can take it anywhere and everywhere!
It's always going to be the case with re released PS2 games on the PSP, it's going to be compared to the PS2 title, a little unfair we feel but you can't stop people doing that. The graphics, as we have already said, aren't as good! But what were you expecting, we think considering the size, power and the fact that it is still early days the graphics are more than passable, and somewhat impressive! Quite unbelievable really!
The gameplay, soundtrack and pretty much everything else in the game are as close to the PS2 version as they possible could, the thing that makes this better than the PS2 title is that you can't walk into town playing your PS2 and you can't tuck a PS2 in to your pocket! The novelty of a quality handheld games console is going to take absolutely ages, we have been yearning for the day when we can walk down the street playing video games, the day has finally come and boy, does it feel goooood!
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition isn't going to be for everyone, the soundtrack as most of us already know is brilliant, the gameplay is intense and the modding is great fun and doesn't break the bank account! Hours of gameplay on the move, or just chilling out at home with a beer or two in the back garden!

Our Conclusions
Very impressive release title, Rockstar games have a very good title in Midnight Club and we are more than certain it won't be the last time we see a Midnight Club title on the PSP. Almost identical to the PS2 version, but seeing as the PS2 version competed blow for blow with Need for Speed (which was really good) the PSP title has nothing to be ashamed of! Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition is a brilliant game and a good one to start off your PSP collection!
Overall Score: 9/10
Thanks to Rockstar Games and the King of Games!
