Game Overview
We loved the first title on the 360, it wasn’t the greatest game in the world but we liked it and we know a lot of people did! Online was amusing and entertaining, the people who played online were generally nice people who enjoyed a chat and overall you got a brilliant gaming experience from somewhat of an average game.

Blazing Angels 2 follows in its predecessors footsteps and allows you to have plenty of fun online with co-op missions and dog fights galore and a huge challenge when it comes to the single player. Single player is however, where we will mention our first gripe, and that is to do with the checkpoints. We haven't been this frustrated with games checkpoints since we lost our temper with Dead Rising! Why do the developers feel it necessary to only have a checkpoint after primary objectives and not secondary objectives!? For annoyance level Blazing Angels 2 gets a 10/10 just for the save points. It's generally quite a difficult game so just a couple more checkpoints wouldn't have gone a miss!

Graphically Blazing Angels is going to be tough to beat for flight sim games, we know Ace Combat is due out soon and that is set to have some stunning visuals but there is something about the Blazing Angels graphics that give it that authentic look and really make you stare in delight when a plane explodes inches from you on screen.

For us, again, the longetivity of the single player campaign is just non existent, it's one of those games where you'll either run through it to grab some achievements but not really give to much attention to what is going on or you'll play a couple of levels, leave it on the shelf for a month then fancy playing another couple of levels and so on. Online is where you'll get the most enjoyment out of Blazing Angels so make sure you get yourself on Live and give it a bash!

Our Conclusions
Campaign leaves a lot to be desired and doesn't really do a very good job at keeping you interested in playing, however on the flip side of that Online is about as much fun as you can have with a flight sim game. Graphics are good, sound is excellent and in general Blazing Angels 2 is a fairly solid turnout even if you only play it online.
