Game Overview
Cover-up comes to mind when you play Juiced 2, every loading screen has a scantily clad woman dancing, what are they trying to distract us from?? Well quite frankly an average game that doesn't really do anything we haven't seen before.
Tuning no, customizing and "pimping" a ride, Yes! There is a definite element of prettiness about Juiced 2 which really deflects the fact that if you want to tune every aspect to your new ride, quite simply you can't.
There is plenty to keep the racing fan entertained for a lengthy period of time including an online career which is good fun but if you are expecting a good racing simulation title which require you to drive a car similar to it's real life counter part then Juiced 2 is not the way to go, stick with Forza. Juiced is very much an arcade racer which allows you to throw the cars into corners and come out the other side with only a few layers of rubber missing from your tires.
Juiced 2 does have quite a steep learning curve due to the cars control being the most sensitive we think we have ever experienced in a racing game, the cars twitch everywhere, and we guarantee your first couple of attempts will see you stack into the wall on at least several occasions, which in turn will deflate your expectations for the game.
One thing that started to get incredibly infuriating is the commentator that the developers felt it necessary to include in the game! WHY!! No other game like this has a commentator, if it was a track based racing game such as Formula 1 of Moto GP then we can understand having a commentator but for a drifting arcade game. Lord give us strength and please get rid of him if you decide to bring out a 3rd!!

Our Conclusions
There really isn't enough to get us excited about Juiced 2, there is a great soundtrack and some pretty graphics once in a while but that is about it. The cars feel like they are on ice and are virtually impossible to keep in a straight line, the drifting doesn't make you feel in control of the car and there isn't anything that jumps out as being unique about the game. Hot Import Nights might be the nation’s largest lifestyle customs car show but the game falls way short.
Overall Score: 6/10
