Game Overview
Anyone who has ever played a Tiger Woods game on any console will know just how amazing they are, the graphics are always crisp and lush, the gameplay is always challenging and the multiplayer options will keep you entertained for hours on end with your mates. Well be prepared for even more of the above with Tiger Woods 2006, its pretty stunning!
Having played both the PS2 and 360 versions you really can see the quality difference between the two machines, but we aren’t here to talk about that, the graphics on the 360 version are beautiful! They are so good that you could be mistaken for thinking you were watching Tiger himself live on TV. The greens looks smooth, the blades of grass in the rough look challenging and as far as we can remember for the first time ever you can launch your ball in to the crowd and actually knock people down! It's worth buying just for that!
Gamers who are used to the gameplay in the Tiger Woods series are in for a huge shock with the new addition, mainly due to the way you play the game. We are assuming that EA realized that people were getting a bit bored with the same thing every year (although we weren't) so they decided to mix it up a bit and make it about a million times harder! Shot shaping being one of the new features, having to control hook and slice whilst you are on your back swing, this technique is not for the faint of heart! It is very difficult to per-fect!
Another new addition to Tiger Woods 2006 is more of a deduction, if there is one thing that made the previous Tiger Woods games a little too easy was the caddy tips for putting, well, tally ho to them! They are gone, which has made the putting incredibly difficult! If you were used to the caddy tips and relied on them a lot you may find the new system a bit frustrating, but don't lose faith, stick at it, it makes those monstrous puts all that more satisfying!

Our Conclusions
The gameplay is fantastic as always, playing online is great fun however the 360 achievements can only be gained by playing online, this is a big downer to the game but don’t let it effect you to much, just get out on the course and start hitting some balls! Release titles don't really get any better than this!
Overall Score: 7/10
Thanks to EA
